BOV Mobile is the mobile banking app from Bank of Valletta. This status page tracks connection problems, login failures, and app freezes as they are reported. Reports come from users, so the picture reflects real experiences rather than internal checks. Check back here if the app stops responding, refuses to open, or cannot reach the bank's servers.
BOV Mobile lets customers check balances, move money, and manage cards from a phone. Most reported problems fall into a few groups: the app freezing or crashing, updates failing to install, slow performance, and login errors. Server connection issues also appear from time to time and usually affect many users at once. If the app will not open or keeps freezing, try closing it fully and reopening it. An outdated version can cause repeated crashes, so check your app store for pending updates. A device restart clears many temporary faults. Login problems are often account-specific. Confirm your credentials and any security code entry. If the server connection fails but this page shows no widespread incident, the problem may sit with your mobile network or Wi-Fi. Switching networks is a quick test.

Questions

Is BOV Mobile down right now?

According to reports on this page, BOV Mobile looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for BOV Mobile yet.

Why can't I log in to BOV Mobile even though the app opens?

Login failures usually mean an issue with your credentials, a security code, or a temporary session error. Re-enter your details carefully and make sure you confirm any verification step. If it still fails while this page shows no incident, contact the bank's support.

The app keeps freezing after I open it. What should I try first?

Close the app completely and reopen it. If that doesn't help, check your app store for an update, since older versions are a common cause of freezes. Restarting your phone can also clear the fault.
