About Knowunity

Knowunity is a German EdTech company based in Berlin. It was founded in 2019 and operates in the education sector. The official website is https://Knowunity.de.
Knowunity is a study app where students share notes and help each other with schoolwork. When something stops working, it is usually a login problem, a frozen screen, or trouble connecting to the servers. This page collects current reports, so you can see whether others are affected too and whether the issue sits with the app or with your own device.
Knowunity is a learning platform from a Berlin-based EdTech company, founded in 2019. Students use the app to find study materials, follow other learners, and work through school subjects together. The problems we see most often are app freezes, slow loading, failed logins, and server connection errors. Update issues also come up when a new app version rolls out. These usually point to either the platform's backend or a stale app version on your phone. Before reporting, try a few things on your side. Close and reopen the app. Check your internet connection. Look in your app store for a pending update. If login fails, confirm your email and password, then try again after a minute. If the app still will not open and reports keep coming in here, the problem is likely on Knowunity's end.

Questions

Is Knowunity down right now?

According to reports on this page, Knowunity looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Knowunity yet.

Why does the Knowunity app keep freezing on my phone?

Freezes often come from an outdated app version or low device memory. Update the app in your store, close other apps running in the background, and restart your phone. If it keeps happening and reports are spiking here, the issue may be on the platform's side.

What should I do if I cannot log in?

First check your email and password for typos. Reset your password if needed, then try again on a stable connection. If login fails for many users at once, it usually points to a server-side problem rather than your account.
