Edge on Win 11 was frozen earlier today forcing me to switch to Win 10. Even Task Manager was frozen

The only page that I can access is the home page. I can't go to any favorites, search, no apps that open through Edge are working.

Since opening up this morning I am unable to search for a favourite, unable to move a favourite properly within a folder or move to another folder.
Google works the way it should.

returned home Monday afternoon, could not get onto the web, checked update status, it says i am up to date. No matter how i tried to gain access, i still could not get onto the web. our phones and TV could get onto the web, we use streaming services only. so i installed duckduckgo that i had, then i was able to get on the web. verified that i still had the up to date software installed, yet the microsoft edge still would not respond, in any way ( Dead ). I will see if the software has been changed and download whatever version and reinstall most likely. fixes posted are much more trouble than they are worth to do.
