About Midjourney

Midjourney is an AI art generator launched in February 2022. It is developed in the United States, and its official website is midjourney.com.
Midjourney is an AI image generator that turns text prompts into artwork. When the service has trouble, it usually shows up as login failures, slow or stuck generations, or problems reaching the website. This page collects live reports from users so you can see whether an issue is widespread or just on your end.
Midjourney is a generative AI service that creates images from written descriptions. It runs on the service provider's servers, so image generation depends on their infrastructure being healthy and reachable. Common problems include accounts that will not sign in, jobs that stall or fail to complete, and the website or bot not responding. Heavy demand can also slow generation times without anything being fully down. Start by checking your internet connection and making sure your subscription or access is active. Try signing out and back in, then send a simple test prompt. If the website loads but images will not generate, the problem is likely server-side, and the report timeline below will show whether others are affected too.

Questions

Is Midjourney down right now?

According to reports on this page, Midjourney looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Midjourney yet.

Why are my Midjourney generations stuck or failing?

Generation jobs run on Midjourney's servers, so stalls usually mean heavy load or a service disruption. Try a shorter prompt first. If simple prompts also fail, the issue is likely on the service side and worth waiting out.

What should I do if I cannot log in to my account?

Confirm your credentials and subscription status, then clear your browser cache or try a different browser. If the website itself will not load, the problem is probably a connection issue rather than your account.
