About Overwatch 2

Overwatch 2 is a 2023 video game developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It is a first-person shooter available across Windows, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms. The official site is overwatch.blizzard.com.
Overwatch 2 is an online team shooter, so it depends on live servers at every step. When something goes wrong, the trouble usually shows up as login failures, disconnects mid-match, or long queue times. This page tracks connection, gameplay, login, server, and website issues for the game so you can tell a service problem from something on your own setup.
Overwatch 2 is a 2023 first-person shooter developed by Blizzard Entertainment. It runs entirely online, which means matches, matchmaking, and account access all rely on the game's backend servers staying healthy. The issues most often reported are login errors, dropped connections during matches, and problems queueing into games. Website and account services can also act up separately from gameplay servers. A patch day can slow things down even when nothing is technically broken. If you are having trouble, check whether the problem affects every match or just one session. Restart the game and your router, then try a wired connection if you are on Wi-Fi. Make sure your game client is fully updated, since version mismatches can block login.

Questions

Is Overwatch 2 down right now?

According to reports on this page, Overwatch 2 looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Overwatch 2 yet.

Why can I log in but not join a match?

Login and matchmaking run on separate systems. If queues are stuck or matches will not start, the matchmaking side is usually the cause. Wait a few minutes and retry before changing your settings.

My game keeps disconnecting. Is it the servers or my connection?

Check if other online games or apps drop at the same time. If they do, look at your router or internet provider. If Overwatch 2 is the only one affected, check the connection server status here first.
