About Udemy

Udemy is an American online learning platform launched in 2010 and headquartered in San Francisco, United States. Its website is udemy.com. It was founded by Eren Bali, Oktay Caglar, and Demi Devi and operates in the e-learning industry.
Udemy is an online learning platform where students take video courses on almost any topic. When the service has problems, course pages may fail to load, videos may stall mid-lesson, or logins can time out. This page tracks reported issues so you can see whether the trouble is on Udemy's side or yours before you spend time troubleshooting.
Udemy hosts courses from independent instructors. You can buy individual courses or subscribe, and watch lessons in a browser or through the mobile and desktop apps. Progress, notes, and certificates are tied to your account.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Udemy yet.

Why won't my course video play?

Playback issues usually come from a slow connection, an outdated browser, or cached data. Try reloading, switching to a different browser, or lowering the video quality in the player settings.
