About Wattpad

Wattpad is an online community themed around reading and writing. It launched in November 2006, is headquartered in Toronto, Canada, operates in the software industry, and is available at https://www.wattpad.com. It is classified as a website, publisher, and social media service.
Wattpad is an online community built around reading and writing stories. When the platform has problems, they usually show up in posting, comments, feeds, or account access. This page tracks service status so you can tell quickly whether an issue is on Wattpad's side or yours.
Wattpad is a social platform where writers share stories and readers follow along, chapter by chapter. It runs as a website and as mobile apps, with features for profiles, comments, and sharing. Common trouble spots include slow or failed uploads when publishing a new chapter, comments or feed items not refreshing, login loops on the app, and intermittent server connection errors. Sharing links to other apps can also stall. If something seems off, first check your internet connection and try reloading the app or page. Log out and back in if posting fails. Clearing the app cache or updating to the latest version resolves many app-side glitches. Check this status page before assuming the platform itself is down.
