Bing is a search engine from Microsoft, and this page tracks its status. When something goes wrong, you will see it here first. We collect user reports, group them by service area such as search, website, and login, and show which parts are affected. Check this page before spending time on your own troubleshooting. It saves you from chasing a problem that is not yours.
Bing is Microsoft's web search service. You can use it in a browser or through the Bing website, and it ties into a Microsoft account for saved settings, rewards, and personalization. Problems usually fall into a few groups: the site loads slowly or not at all, search results fail to appear, or signing in breaks so preferences and history will not sync.

Questions

Is Bing down right now?

According to reports on this page, Bing looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Bing yet.

Why do I see different search results on different devices?

Bing personalizes results based on your location, language settings, and account activity. Signed-out browsing and private windows often show more generic results, so differences are expected.

Can I use Bing without signing in?

Yes. Search works without an account. Signing in adds features like synced preferences, search history, and Microsoft Rewards, but none of them are required for basic searching.

Bing was working earlier in the day, then in the afternoon it would not. Can't log in to email and can't access websites. I have tried all the recommended fixes and nothing works.

Bing went down for me, but I was told to close my computer (teacher) right after I saw the error. It's back now, and that's how I'm on this site. No outages were reported, does anyone know what happened?

For some reason, I cannot get Bing.com to work. The search engine is not working and I've uninstalled/installed twice and nothing happens. Are you guys having major issues?
