Only getting some stations through internet. No local stations. Most stations down.

The screen on the received Channels (all of them) have grey blanked out areas. This is not my receiver as when I use the channel guides, the whole screen is used.

I'm a senior citizen; some upgrades were done to my TV today on screen and now I cannot watch DISh channels any longer. It's telling me I'm not connected.
I do not understand how to troubleshoot etc (87 yrs old) and have no idea what to do. Have had very bad satellite connections for a few weeks now and the interruptions are annoying.
