I keep getting a message that "service is unavailable"

Duck duck go has not been working for several days. A blank screen shows a light grey rectangle int he top left corner. It appears to have light moving left to right in it. At times, the logo box comes up to enter a search request but either you cannot type in it, or it does not respond correctly or it responds but then shuts down as you look at a page.
