About Elex 2

ELEX 2 (also written ELEX II) is a 2022 video game developed by Piranha Bytes. It is described as an open-world computer role-playing game. The game is available on Windows, macOS, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X and S. The official website is elexgame.com.
ELEX 2 is an open-world role-playing game released in 2022, developed by Piranha Bytes. This page tracks reported problems with the game's online services, login, server connections, and the official website. If something feels off, check the current status here first. You can also report an issue to help other players see what is happening.
ELEX 2 is a single-player game at its core, but it still touches online services in several places. Launchers and DRM platforms handle activation, patches are delivered online, and the official website hosts news and support information. Most reports we receive involve game play, login, server connection, or the website itself. Common problems include failed activation at first launch, slow or stalled patch downloads, and trouble signing in to the platform account tied to the game. Crashes during game play are usually local rather than a service outage, but a broken patch rollout can look the same from your side. Before you report an issue, try a few basics. Restart the game and the launcher, check your internet connection, and make sure the platform client is updated. If downloads fail, pause and resume them. Clearing the launcher cache often helps with stubborn updates. If the official website is unreachable, that is usually temporary and does not affect your ability to play.

Questions

Is Elex 2 down right now?

According to reports on this page, Elex 2 looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Elex 2 yet.

Do I need an internet connection to play ELEX 2?

You need to be online for activation and updates, but after that the game runs as a single-player experience. A brief service outage on the platform side can block a first launch on a new device.
