About Peloton

The name Peloton is also associated with Grand Plateau (Peloton RMC), a French podcast distributed through the RMC and BFM TV podcast player. It is known under both names in French and English.
Peloton connects connected fitness equipment, a mobile app, live classes, and member accounts. When one part of that chain fails, workouts get interrupted in different ways. This status page gathers current reports, so you can see whether an issue sits with the platform or with your own setup before you start troubleshooting at home.
Peloton is a fitness platform built around connected exercise equipment and guided workouts. Members stream live and on-demand classes, track their performance, and manage their accounts through the app or the website. Problems usually cluster in a few places. Class streams may buffer or fail to load. The app may not sync with equipment, or login sessions may expire without warning. Server connection errors can stop stats from saving mid-workout. Before reporting an issue, check your own connection first. Confirm your Wi-Fi or ethernet link is stable, make sure the equipment firmware and app are up to date, and try signing out and back in. If the website loads but the app does not, the fault is more likely on the platform side.

Questions

Is Peloton down right now?

According to reports on this page, Peloton looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Peloton yet.

Why won't my workout class stream?

Streaming problems often come from a weak local connection. Test your network speed, restart your router if needed, and make sure the equipment or app is updated. If other services stream fine and the issue persists, it may be a platform problem.

Can I still work out if the app or servers are down?

Yes. Basic equipment functions such as resistance and manual modes usually keep working. Features that need a connection, like live classes, leaderboards, and saved stats, may be unavailable until service is restored.
