About Vectornator

Vectornator is an application available on iOS.
Vectornator is a vector design app for iOS devices. When it misbehaves, the trouble usually shows up as freezes, failed updates, or trouble connecting to the sign-in service. This page tracks reported problems in real time, so you can see whether others are hitting the same thing before you spend time troubleshooting on your own.
Vectornator is a design application for creating vector graphics on iPhone and iPad. It runs largely on the device, with online components for account access and updates. The problems we see most often are the app freezing mid-edit, downloads stalling in the App Store, and login requests that fail to complete. Server connection errors tend to be short-lived, while update issues often clear up once storage is freed. Before filing a report, check that you have a stable internet connection, enough free storage for the update, and the latest version of iOS. Closing and reopening the app resolves many freezes. If login fails, confirm your credentials work on another service first.

Questions

Is Vectornator down right now?

According to reports on this page, Vectornator looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for Vectornator yet.

Why does Vectornator freeze when I edit large files?

Complex vector artwork uses a lot of memory, and older iPads or iPhones may struggle with very detailed files. Simplify layers where possible, close background apps, and make sure you are running the latest version of Vectornator.

What should I do if the app update won't download?

Check that you have enough free storage and a working internet connection. Pause and resume the download in the App Store, or restart your device. If the store itself is having problems, the issue is on Apple's side rather than with Vectornator.
