Vertex Inc. provides tax technology and compliance software used by businesses to calculate, file, and manage indirect taxes. This status page tracks the current health of its applications, login systems, tax filing services, and website. When something stops working, we gather reports from users and present a clear picture here so you can tell quickly whether the problem is on your end or theirs.
Vertex builds software that handles tax determination and compliance for companies of many sizes. Its tools sit inside billing, invoicing, and e-commerce systems, applying the right tax rules to each transaction in real time. The platform also supports filing and reporting obligations across jurisdictions. The most common trouble spots are login failures, slow or stalled tax calculations, and interruptions to filing services. A glitch at checkout that returns wrong tax amounts or an upload that refuses to go through usually points to one of these areas. The website can also act up separately from the core platform. Start by checking your internet connection and confirming your credentials are correct. If you are integrated through an API, review your recent request logs for errors or rate limits. Clearing your browser cache and retrying after a short wait resolves many smaller hiccups.
