About War Thunder

War Thunder (also known as World of Planes or WT) is a 2012 vehicular combat multiplayer video game developed by Gaijin Entertainment. It is available on Windows, macOS, Linux, PlayStation, and Xbox platforms, and falls under the action, MMO, simulation, and vehicular combat genres. Official site: warthunder.com.
War Thunder is a free-to-play vehicular combat game from Gaijin Entertainment, released in 2012 and previously known as World of Planes. Because it is an online multiplayer title, its battles depend on login services, matchmaker servers, and game servers staying reachable. When one of those pieces stumbles, you will usually see it here first, along with notes on what is affected and what you can try on your side.
War Thunder combines aviation, ground vehicles, and naval combat in one multiplayer game. Matches run on Gaijin's connection servers, and the launcher handles login and updates before you ever reach a battle. Most reported problems fall into a few groups: login failures, trouble entering a queue, disconnects mid-match, and a launcher or website that will not load. Patch days can also slow downloads or block authentication until the update settles. On your side, check that your game client and launcher are current, since outdated versions often fail the login handshake. Verify your firewall or antivirus is not blocking the game, test your own internet connection, and confirm the platform you play on is supported. If the status page shows everything green, a router restart and a fresh login attempt are reasonable next steps.
