About Astound

Analog Science Fiction and Fact, formerly Astounding Science Fiction, is a US science fiction magazine founded in 1930 and originally published by Street & Smith. It is also known simply as Analog. Its official website is analogsf.com.
Astound customers occasionally run into trouble with internet, email, billing, or TV services. When something stops working, it helps to know whether the problem is on your end or part of a wider disruption. This page collects service reports so you can see patterns quickly. Check here before spending time on troubleshooting that may not help.
Astound provides broadband internet, fixed wireless, phone, television, and email services to residential customers. Most people rely on it daily for work and home connections, so interruptions stand out quickly. Common issues include slow or dropped internet, WiFi that disconnects intermittently, email login failures, and billing or account access problems. TV streaming and website access can also be affected. Total blackouts are rare but possible during larger incidents. Start on your side by restarting the modem and router, checking cables, and confirming your account is in good standing. Test whether other devices in the home have the same issue. If everything looks fine locally, recent reports here may point to a broader service problem.

Questions

Is Astound down right now?

According to reports on this page, Astound looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

The last mass outage ran from Oct 12, 2026 1:45 PM to Oct 12, 2026 1:40 PM (5 minutes).

Why is my Astound internet slow even though the connection is up?

Slow speeds often come from WiFi congestion, an overloaded router, or too many devices streaming at once. Restart your modem and router first. If wired connections are also slow, the issue may sit with the network, and recent reports here will show if others are affected.

What should I do if my Astound email stops working?

Check your password and confirm you can log in through the web portal. Make sure your email app settings match the current server requirements. If login fails everywhere, account or email service issues may be in progress, and report activity on this page can confirm it.
