About HInge

Wikidata lists Hinge as a family name, classified as an instance of a family name.
This status page tracks Hinge service health across its app, website, and messaging features. We collect user reports during suspected problems and summarize them here in plain language. If your likes, matches, or messages seem stuck, check the current status first before reinstalling or resetting anything. Updates appear as soon as patterns in the reports become clear.
Hinge is a dating app where people build profiles, send likes with comments, and chat with mutual matches. It runs on mobile apps for iOS and Android plus a website, so an incident can touch one platform or several at once.

Questions

Is HInge down right now?

According to reports on this page, HInge looks fine for most people. Isolated failures still happen — report yours if you are stuck.

When was the last mass outage?

We do not have a recorded mass outage for HInge yet.

Why can I see my matches but not send messages?

That pattern usually points to a messaging-side problem rather than your account. Check whether sending also fails on the website. If it does, it is likely a service issue covered on this page. If it only fails on your phone, update the app and try logging out and back in.

Will my likes and matches be lost during an outage?

No. Likes, matches, and conversations are stored on Hinge's servers, not only on your device. Once service is fully restored, your history should reappear. If a match or message thread stays missing after an incident ends, contact Hinge support through the app.
