Jan 25 09:50 Scanned app at checkout all good but total was too high. Asked to see discounts and told 'Oh sorry it's not working, you can call customer services.' Manager was requested and I hald up the line. He eventually called customer services and had standard message. Emptied shopping onto belt and left because woild not refund pound in trolley. Manager took zero responsibility for the problem. Very angry wasted an hour of my life.

Noticed at till that offers on Lidl plus hadn't been discounted. Operator spoke to supervisor who stated that Lidl plus wasn't discounting items.Very annoying & frustrating,shopping returned & no digital receipt for items actually purchased. Assistant not previously aware of issue so I wonder how many people were oblivious that their shop wasn't discounted as advertised.Seemingly no other way of discounting. Not happy.
